HIGHLY SUGGESTED to take our Concealed Pistol Defense Course prior to Enhanced Concealed Carry Enhance your self-defense skills with Fortress Warriors' Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry, a rigorous 8-hour qual. This satisfies the requirements of Idaho Code 18-3302K, enabling students to apply for an Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License. Course Objective: Students will be able to apply Idaho laws governing the possession, display, use, and lawful defensive use of firearms. Students will demonstrate an understanding of when the use of force and deadly force is legally justified, recognize locations where concealed carry is prohibited or restricted, understand potential criminal and civil liabilities associated with firearm use, and make informed decisions consistent with Idaho law and responsible concealed carry practices. Along with a live fire qualification portion. NO REFUNDS IF YOU GET ASKED TO LEAVE RANGE OR NOT MEETING STANDARDS There is a 98 round qualification during this course. Participants must bring their own pistol, 2 magazines, concealed holster, a minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition, and personal eye and ear protection. REQUIRED PREREQUISITE SKILLS This is NOT an introductory firearms course. Students must already know and be able to safely perform the following skills BEFORE attending this qual. Follow all firearm safety rules at all time Safely load and unload and unload their firearm Perform reloads safely and independently Recognize and safely clear common firearm malfunctions Safely draw from and return the firearm to a holster Maintain safe firearm handling We will be in the classroom for the first half, to include a law portion. The rest of the time will be on the range. Ensure you bring weather appropriate attire, chair, water, and food. Must have closed toed shoes. Location Classroom: TBD Range: Double Tapp Shooting Range 14010 E Double Tapp Ln, Boise, ID 83716 BRING LUNCH and snacks as there will not be alot of time to in transition to range Strongly encouraged to receive fundamental training first as you will have a qualification. Be able to follow range commands and safely handle a firearm in a QUICK PACED shooting qualification.
